I saw a malevolent cloud of despair,
Hovering above her fiery halo,
Like a silent sense of discontent,
Tormenting her mysterious mind through glassy eyes,
Shackled beneath weeping Orwellian machinery,
Damned to decay,
To shiver below searing city lights,
To prophesise polystyrene moons and papier-mache nightingales,
To roam within visions of saintly subterranean ghosts,
And dine among Promethean rocks in the cataclysmic dynamo of eternity,
Lost somewhere beyond the void –
