Magical Forest

I.

Brooding alone by the autumnal riverside,
Captivated by the pulsating electric midnight wilderness,
Intoxicated by the strange radiant desolation of existence,
I felt sparks of mysterious revelation and serene despair,
Floating like pulpy squash upon the ethereal surface of my skull –

Angelic tears descending upon the sublime woodlands of eternity,
The faraway calls of strange mythical creatures swirling through the majestic air,
Mystical twinkling lights floating above the moss-covered earth,
I felt flashes of tingling elation and bleak misery,
Coalescing within like blessed streaks of magical elixir –

II.

I saw sorrow reflected on the glassy surface of tortured gurgling streams,
And cursed halos wreaking holy havoc in the catatonic stillness –

I saw windows of illusion amidst the floating dust of decaying willow trees,
And hovering orbs of divine ether prophesying the bleak dawn –

I saw flourishing flickers of madness impaled by abominable asteroid showers above,
And aurora’s rays of doom swelling beyond the mountainous horizon,
Their gentle light resonating mournfully through the hallowed void –

I saw fallen stars washing sordidly upon the exquisite embankment,
And the quivering glare of ancient dazzling flowers entrapped within sacred mist –
