Cosmos

A fog of corrosive sparkling stardust descending upon the technicolour cosmos,
I saw dying stars smouldering with their final fatal sparks of life,
Drowning in the grim reaper’s cloak of malevolent darkness,
And celestial demons concealed in ominous shadow and writhing flame –

I saw the glassy fragmented shards of reality twisting and distorting abstractly,
The sodden dismembered bowels of the universe undulating with immortal anguish –

I saw wreaths of tenderly quivering shadows majestically billowing like vibrant silhouettes,
And hallucinatory streaks of iridescent lights gleaming in the peculiar distance,
Prophesying an ancient cosmic eruption of angelic euphoria and tingling ecstasy,
That rises like a resplendent mythic haze into the supernatural dynamo of eternal nightfall –

I saw mythological spirits spiralling down the cavernous abyss of time,
A kaleidoscopic myriad of optical illusions swirling in the mystical horizon,
And lonesome extra-terrestrial eyes illuminated with supernatural ecstasy –

I felt the sacred grace of eternal solitude as luminous souls morphed into the hallowed void,
And heard strange dissonant sounds flowing like an ethereal river through the spectral galaxy –

I saw the shuddering spine-like chain of cause and event elapsing through time,
Interwoven within the rippling fabric of reality like an endless glowing tapestry,
A hypnotic glistening mosaic,
A multi-dimensional spider’s web pulsating through the bleak universe –
